We had a change of plans and ended up not going to the lake this weekend. It was rainy, I wasn't feeling well, so we opted for a quiet weekend at home instead. We relaxed, played, got some things done at the house and had a Memorial Day smokeout for some of our friends and family on Monday.
It was so much fun to see everyone and watch our kids chase each other around the yard. Mark did an amazing job on the meat- we had boston butt and drunk chicken that literally melted in your mouth- that man is talented with the BBQ :)
Yesterday, Wyatt started his new preschool- we registered him for the summer program in order to get him acquainted with the routine of school and teachers before fall hit. He had a wonderful day, and I am thrilled with the new program! His note said he was quickly becoming a class favorite, and was very friendly, cooperative and helpful- that's my boy!
