This past weekend, we had a rare opportunity to take a girls trip to the beach. Stephanie and I, along with Joey's mom , sister and my mother-in-law packed up and headed to Gulf Shores. We stayed on a private beach which was a wonderful treat compared to the packed public beaches in Destin. We didn't have to worry about Wyatt making too much noise or throwing sand on the neighbors :). Wyatt had a ball on the beach and was so sweet with Delaney all weekend. You would think these two are brother/sister the way they relate to one another. Delaney absolutely adores Wyatt and he loves showing 'little cousin' how to do 'big kid' stuff.
I am so grateful that these two are so close. What a blessing! Another blessing was to have TWO full days away from Birmingham and all things work-related. Even though it rained on our last day there, we were still so happy to be at the beach!
